Charles
Charles is an experienced and versatile English instructor and coach, well suited to teaching students ranging from young learners to adults.
His experience as an instructor started 30 years ago at the Royal Air Force. In addition to holding an MBA from the University of the West of England, he possesses CELTA and TESOL accreditations.
Therefore, Charles feels confident when it comes to teaching either YLE (Cambridge Young Learners certificate), critical thinking, phonics, writing, reading, listening or speaking skills to young students, as well as with different Business English areas to professionals.
Since coming to Hong Kong back in 2006, he has taught in different educational institutions, such as education centres, primary and secondary schools, as well as in higher education establishments. With regard to corporate language training, Charles has experience in preparing and teaching courses for professionals of diverse fields, such as project and strategic management, finance, customer service, marketing, hospitality, among others.
Lastly, he is also an effective supervisor of MBA students’ dissertations and a certified first aid instructor. All this combined with his friendly and approachable character, makes Charles a highly qualified and experienced all-round English instructor with a very approachable teaching method, which is able to enhance a wide range of student profiles.
