Michael
Michael is an experienced and highly qualified Japanese teacher, who can teach the Japanese language and culture to young students and adults. He holds a BA in Japanese Studies from Tunghai University in Taiwan and completed an exchange program academic year at Japan International Christian University.
As an educator, Michael started his teaching career back in 2005 he was studying in Japan. With his native proficiency in Japanese, he taught and helped many newly arrived overseas students. Upon his return to Hong Kong, he joined an international airline group and he started to train airline crew members to use Japanese language at work. Later on he moved to formal secondary education by teaching local students to prepare effectively for DSE, GCSE, and IB Japanese. This experience has enabled him to gain a great insight into middle and high school students´ needs.
In addition, since the beginning of his teaching career, Michael has been preparing students to sit for different levels of JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) diplomas, ranging from starters to high proficient students.
Additionally, Michael likes to incorporate different sources of Japanese cultural aspects into his classes. Therefore his students are often highly motivated since he has a wide range of resources when it comes to opening up Japanese culture to his students, resulting in a fully immersive learning experience for them.
Hence, Michael is a versatile and highly qualified Japanese teacher, who is passionate about sharing his knowledge of the Japanese language and culture with all his students. With his guidance, dedication, patience, and friendly nature, his students are able to reach their language goals.
