Naoko
Naoko is a veteran teacher, lecturer and translator, who possesses extensive experience in teaching Japanese to English speakers, as well as English to Japanese speakers.
She holds a BA in English Literature, QTS and Linguistics and an MA in Applied Linguistics in the UK.
As an Educator, Naoko has experience in teaching young learners at primary and secondary levels in both Japan and the UK. She is familiar with the IB curriculum, all GCSE and A-Level exam boards, and Hong Kong’s DSE.
Naoko has worked as a lecturer in the UK, where she designed the language programmes that she taught to her undergraduate students. In addition, Naoko also has experience in teaching adults for different purposes, as well as conducting corporate language training for multi-national corporations.
As a translator, Naoko has more than 10 years experience in delivering high quality translations of a wide range of documents from Japanese to English.
Naoko is a proud member of the Society of Japanese Language Education of Hong Kong. This highlights the fact that she is a truly experienced, highly qualified and versatile educator and translator. She is also able to provide an interesting insight into both the Japanese and English languages in not only the educational but also the translation fields.
