Georges
Georges is a skilled and experienced French and Latin teacher who is dedicated to helping his students reach their language goals.
Georges graduated with a Political Science major and a criminal justice minor from the University of Albany in New York. He then pursued a Masters in Political Science at the Université de Montréal and currently a Doctorate in Conflict Studies at Saint Paul University.
In addition to his impressive educational history, Georges has had a plethora of tutoring experience which more than qualifies him to be an elite tutor for Immerse Languages. He has been supporting student’s goals since 2016, where he designed and curated lessons for Anglophone students in the French Immersion system. Arriving in Hong Kong in 2019, he has taught French at establishments such as the Hong Kong Baptist University to students of all ages, with different needs. He also teaches Latin classes from beginner to advanced level.
Georges, with his rich experience in the education sector, prides himself in being able to connect with each unique student, unlocking their potential with unique curriculum and programs. With his background in political science and conflict studies, Georges is also able to connect language with culture, helping the students develop a deeper understanding of why the French language functions the way it does.
Georges also uses stories, songs and quizzes to inspire students. His classes are serious and engaging as well as fun! He treasures the opportunity to create a knowledgeable and interactive atmosphere for students to better reach their goals, and understand the language that he loves so much.
