Camille
Camille is a well-educated native English teacher with years of experience under her belt.
She graduated with First Class Honours from The University of Hong Kong for her Bachelor’s with a double major in English Studies as well as Communications and a minor in Education. She is also undergoing a Postgraduate in English Education for Primary students in The University of Hong Kong.
She has taught in a formal Band 1 secondary school and in many language learning centres. She was a head teacher in a learning centre with multiple locations worldwide which has been in operation for over twenty years. She is experienced in teaching a wide range of kindergarten, primary and secondary students and has taught English through phonics, playgroup, creative writing, public speaking, current affairs, academic writing, debate and English literature.
She has also trained students and has had students’ works published through winning story-writing competitions consistently every year since 2017. She has also had students receive championship in national poetry-writing, public speaking and poetry recital contests.
To Camille, communication is essential in teaching. She communicates with parents by regularly providing feedback to you with your kids’ progress and she uses communication to build rapport with her students and encourage a safe learning environment.
With her education background, teaching experience and pedagogy, Camille hopes to help your kids reinforce their strengths, improve areas they struggle with and develop an intrinsic motivation to learn.
